Claimed and unclaimed listings
Most listings start out unclaimed: they are compiled from the open data sources below, not created or approved by the business. When the owner of a business signs in, asks to claim its listing and we verify the request, the listing is marked "Claimed & verified" and the owner can keep its details up to date.

Overture Maps Foundation
Some listings contain places data from the Overture Maps Foundation. Overture places combine several datasets, each under its own licence, as set out on Overture’s attribution page:
- Data from Meta. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from Microsoft. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from Foursquare. Copyright 2024 Foursquare Labs, Inc. All rights reserved. Foursquare data was transformed to the Overture schema. Available under Apache 2.0. NOTICE
- Data from DAC. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from PinMeTo. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from Krick. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from RenderSEO. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from BrightQuery. Available under CDLA-Permissive 2.0.
- Data from AllThePlaces. Available under CC0 1.0.
